The post brings to light that the Terms Of Use are somewhat vague. The aforementioned site and blog ring and clearly violate the Terms Of Use, vague or not.Now, I’m all for free speech in America. However, I am fully against the perpetuation and dissemination of a belief system based on fallacy, hatred and fear.

the only reassuring thing about this ‘white power’ blogring seems to be that all of its members are approximately 12 years old and unable to spell.
but then again, it’s hardly surprising that the only minds receptive to such blantant fascism would be young, undereducated, inexperienced, and confused. those are the kinds of people looking for easy answers, and when someone comes along and tells you your life can be better if you just got rid of “the others”, it’s easy to fall for the quick fix of hate-speech.
especially, since from what i gather (i did go and read several of thosse sites, and a few on the other white pride, nazi, etc. blogrings), many of these kids are not being brought up in ahhh, how shall i say. . .culturally responsible fashion. i’m sure they’ve lived all their lives in one place, associated with the same kinds of people, been spoon-fed the same opinions, and reprimanded for any dissention in thought.
it takes a long time to rid a populace of certain inherited mannerisms, like racism. but i’ve always maintained that the key is education, and from seeing how young these kids are, you apparently can’t start early enough!
i really don’t think we have enough programs in grammar schools that promote tolerance and celebrate diversity. and that’s such a crucial time in anyone’s development. . .as a child you are unsure of yourself and that often times is manifested in the need to dominiate those around you in order to create stability of mind. there’s really no ‘core cirriculum’ in public education that deals with social awareness. telling a four year old to ‘play nice’ is not exactly what i call effective dialogue.
i’m glad you posted this rich. it reminds us all that intolerance is still very much alive today, in MANY forms, and that we should never believe ourselves safe from the insurgency of hate.

Like a lot of us, I do agree with freedom of speech, and if that does include those who post about race hatred (as it then shows the rest of us exactly what we’re up against …), BUT … as Xanga’s terms of condition prohibits this it should be upheld. There are other forums where these idiots can post their rantings, not on Xanga.

Racism is wrong. Period. However he does bring up an interesting point. Why is it an all white group is a hate group and an all black group is not? Granted I don’t know about the goals and views of the particular all-whate group on his blog, and presumably it is a group of like-minded bigots and racists, but at the same time a company is usually frowned upon if there are no minorities. I know of a small business employing three people, all related, who have had letters from the local NAACP claiming discrimination. None of the three are racists. Go figure.
It’s one thing to state an opinion, but to spew that racist dogma is something else entirely. And that goes for ALL of it. Just my 2 cents worth.
