Wife: Oh, OK.
[Today] Wife makes pasta and bread for dinner.
Me: LOL SRSLY?

that’s quite impish of her. did you forget a birthday?
I’ve been cutting up veggies like giant Japanese radishes and zucchini like fetuccine and serving that in lieu of pasta for the last month. I’d like to believe it’s making a difference.
Doesn’t that just irk you? In one ear and out the other.
low carb pasta? pita bread?
the belly wants what it wants, saturnalia. don’t fight it.
@WritingOnTheBathroomWall - I’m not even close to being irked – there’s two kids that need to get fed here and my diet is the last thing on her mind when I’m at work and she’s shopping with them in tow. As an adult, I’m fully capable of feeding myself
@tomblog9 - BREAD IS THE DEVIL
@DemetersDaughter - Nah, it’s just a matter of 2 kids at the grocery store. That radish and zucchini pasta sounds great, I want to try it.
@saturnalia - fair enough. I was just cracking up over her comments on the book. the veggie pasta is easy peasy. I do it with carrots, too, but I’m sure they’re not as healthy. I score the veg with the fruit knife, then use the peeler to make long thin strips. I even make pad thai without “real” noodles now.
I was going to say, “well, she’s not on a diet, make your dinner yourself,” then I read your comment. :)
