what i’ve been up to recently:
• reading The Battle for God: A History of Fundamentalism by Karen Armstrong.
i’ve only finished the first chapter, which is on Judaism. So far, it’s a damn interesting book. it’s a chronicle of the socio-political turning points of the major world religions (Judaism, Muslim, and Christianity), and some history as to why fundamental zealotry came about. Some interesting little tidbits about history that aren’t really discussed much also. Like how the Spanish Inquisition came about from Ferdinand and Isabella’s desire for a unified Spain (basically they said, convert to Christianity or leave, it’s your choice). Torquemada (a descendant of converted Jews himself) then bastardized it into hatred, torture and murder.• yet another sinus infection.
nasty stuff going on in the hidden caverns of my sinuses. i’ve been doing lavage (taking a mild saline solution and shooting up your nose until it comes out the other nostril) on those bastards trying to get them cleared out. it’s helping, but damn it’s unpleasant.• listening to:

love you
I know a little too much about your mucus at this point.
Glad to see a post. Was wondering what was up with you.
I hope she had a good night too. Sorry I’ve been absent from commenting.. Things have been chaotic.
i haven’t heard of any of those artists you listed there.
are you being intentionally esoteric? ; )
I was sick as I’ve ever been in my life last week with a nasty nasty sinus infection. My mom works in a drug store and she said the pharmacist there said she had never seen so many intense sinus infections as she’s seen this season. Hope it clears up sooner than later!
