Make or obtain a Santa suit, complete with beard and utilize the free introduction class for karate or tae bo. In the suit. Tell them Santa wants to kick the bad kids asses this year, never mind the coal.
Optional for bonus points: wear sleigh bells.
2. Everyone's doing it...
Arm yourself with a beach ball, pillow or similar. Stick said object into your shirt and be pregnant for a day.
Optional for bonus points: pull object from under your shirt and attempt to breast feed it in public (do not whip your tit out. Do it over the clothing).

Be me for a day. This entails: baggy cargo pants, t shirt, spiky hair and carrying your camera everywhere you go and taking pictures of weird shit.
