ever read nabokov's "ada or ardor"? lots of codes and trust issues to play around with in there.
i've read this before...the numerical code isn't too hard to break..maybe you want people to know what you're saying even though you say you can't trust them. no one can break my darkside code i have with my darkside buddies...its mostly body motions but we've incorporated them into words too. i'm trying to give up the code-making. too much work, everyone tries to break them, and the translation is never quite right.

raised without trust. my mother told me once that her mother taught her to never trust what anyone says. people always lie and they always mean something other than what they say. I've fought to teach my brain to be more on the surface of other's words. hard but working. I also learned never trust anyone til I'm ready to do so.
