a dream
another weird dog dream last nite...
i'm standing, facing a closed door, dog is standing to my left. a very ominous tone to the whole scene. there's someone on the other side of the door, waiting for me to open it, waiting to do something to me. i get the impression that it's someone i knew, or someone very similar to them.
the dog this time is one i had when i was younger, a black and white collie.
his teeth are bared and his tail is up, waiting for (what/who)ever is on the other side of the door.
i don't open it.

Dude!!! It's Ed McMahon and the Publisher's Clearinghouse Prize Patrol! YOU could have just won Ten MILLION dollars!!!
Jung said animals represent our deeper emotions, ones we potentially do not want to deal with...with that in mind, i'd say the meaning of that dream is pretty obvious...
Dogs are supposed to symbolize fidelity. I don't know about the rest, though given your recent history with 'K,' I think maybe 'K' is still pursuing you but your respect for yourself will keep her away. Eh?
Caveat -- I am NOT a trained dream interpreter.
Rich, if you can lucid dream..and if all your dog dreams have this tone to them...open the door next time. The dog would represent one aspect of your personality ( a defender) ...the person on the other side represents another...trying to tell you something you don't want to hear or accept. So instead of being motivated by fear...open the door and face whatever it is, if you are able.

oooooh i like that one...it's thought wrenching...haha
I don't know what to say about this one...except...OPEN THE DAMNED DOOR!
This is more to satisfy my own sick curiousity by the way...
what did you eat before bed? i usually have weird dreams if i eat cereal...
Whatever you do don't open that door!
But hey, if you do open it, can you ask whoever's back there if they've seen my car? My recurring dream has me losing my damn car all the time. Now what does that mean I wonder? Also that the brakes aren't working... oh hell, you do what you want. It's your dream.
hmm... a dream like that would leave such a lingering feeling on me... what sense do you make of it? by the way, i really like the way you setup you page, the colors are very nice and easy on the eyes =)
ok that's creepy..you didn't kick the dog?
argh! open the door already!
I'm with the "Open the door" brigade
At least you have your trusty dog with you
forget about your dog dream, let's just talk about me. i had a dog once, it was back in 1987 ....
(from the comment category of one that constantly refers back to herself)
your dog dreams invaded my subconscious...after reading this blog i had some f'd up dreams involving coyotes, wolves and a wild dog that was supposed to be a pet...it was freakish to say the least...
The door remains closed...hmm..for good or for ill?
Weird,
I hardly ever remember my dreams so vividly. I'm not sure if that's good or bad.
strange dream you had. have you thought about looking up what dreams mean.. like the meaning of a dog in your dream. huh..
